Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Departure
23:30 — departure from Chisinau.
Day 2Tbilisi
04:10 — arrival in Tbilisi. Transfer to the hotel with immediate check-in and time to rest. Breakfast and meeting with our company representative. Guided sightseeing tour of Tbilisi (included), 2–3 hours: Freedom Square and Europe Square, Aghmashenebeli Avenue and Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi’s old courtyards, the sulphur baths, the Bridge of Peace and Narikala Fortress. Free time.
Day 3Kazbegi
Breakfast. The most breathtaking day of the tour — the mountains (€55). Along the Georgian Military Road to Stepantsminda, with a photo stop at the Friendship Monument, then by equipped vehicles up to Gergeti (2,170 m) at the foot of Mount Kazbek. We also visit Ananuri Fortress and the Zhinvali Reservoir before returning to Tbilisi along the snowy road.
Day 4Kakheti and New Year’s Eve
Breakfast. The Kakheti wine region (€55): KTW winery with a tour and tasting, Bodbe Monastery with the relics of St. Nino, views over the Alazani Valley and Sighnaghi, the “city of love”. Return to Tbilisi and get ready for New Year’s Eve (celebration programme to be announced, optional).
Day 5Mtskheta
Breakfast and some rest. In the afternoon, Mtskheta, Georgia’s first capital (€30): UNESCO-listed Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the souvenir market (spices, churchkhela, wine ice cream) and Jvari Monastery overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. Return to Tbilisi.
Day 6Free day
Breakfast. A free day to explore Tbilisi.
Day 7Flight home
01:30 — transfer to the airport, 05:10 — departure for Chisinau, 06:10 — arrival.
